Reasons Why You Should Join A Membership Club Today

Joining a club doesn’t give you one benefit. It’s like a whole new experience. Remember when we were kids and finished schooling, we wished it never ends. But we finally accepted the truth and went to college, made new friends, only to leave the place and connections after some three or four years. Clubs are definitely a gift to mankind. They are like our school or college, where there is a lot more freedom than we had when we were younger and the best part is that it never has to end! You can always party, have plenty of lavish dinners, enjoy sports, socialize and make new connections. For those of you who prefer recommendations, I would suggest Club Momentz, who recently won the fever Crystals Award for the Best Disc in Lucknow. Club Momentz is the one stop destination in Lucknow for the locals and the tourists to join the membership and enjoy their stay on the weekends.

Here are a few reasons why you should immediately join a membership club with your family!

Business

I read somewhere that people generally join clubs not for the pool or bar, they do it because of the great networking opportunities. Every adult has a business which he or she wants to promote and grow. And there is no better way of doing business than face to face. When you are a club member you meet people from different businesses and you have immense scope for exchanging information, selling out your business and get new. You learn about what they do. They learn about what you do.

Facilities

If you are a music and dance lover or a sports lover but you can’t get the environment, club is the right place for you! Club Momentz has got a big swimming pool for adults and a separate section for kids with trainers, a bar, a discotheque, a gym, therapeutic steam room for a relaxing sauna experience, fine dine restaurant, open air grill, a banquet and lounge if you want to celebrate on special occasions or even host a corporate meeting. You get a fantastic view and amazing services. It’s like a perfect combination of work and play.

Social Networking

Friendship cannot and should not be put on the side when one has a family. Social networking is important because we are social beings. Socializing bring peace of mind and happiness. Meeting new people is good when there are the activities to do together. Ladies can have unending gossip sessions at their spa and steam bath sessions, kids can learn and grow with swimming activities, men can indulge in the revelries of the bar and disc. Club Momentz values the sanctity of personal relationships and takes you away from the hustle bustle of daily life.

Food

Speaking of food, the restaurant in membership clubs serves up delicious eats, there is an open grill restaurant which has all the lavish grilled food items. The bar and disc have all kinds of mocktails and cocktails along with delectable starters and appetizers. For an evening with your ladies or a Sunday morning family brunch, nothing is better than the ravishing royal treatment at the clubs! When you find the right club, there’s a level of happiness and contentment that makes it worth it all!

A Sweet Affair: Lakhnavi Desserts to Relish

Every city has its list of specials when it comes to food, and when we talk about desserts, everyone wants to indulge in the sweetness whether it makes them gain weight or not! Dessert goes to the heart not to the stomach. An amazing fact that I discovered while reading about lucknow is, that the Lakhnavi cuisine has basically originated from Persian cooks introduced by the Nawabs of Awadh in their royal kitchens.

Gulabi chai – This royal chai tastes nothing like the normal chai, it is famous in Kashmir as ‘noon chai’ and in Lucknow as ‘gulabi chai’. Made of flavors of kesar, elaichi, kewra, it gets its color from sodium bicarbonate which also gives it the taste. This hot unique beverage is served with imarthi or jalebi. You will get the best gulabi chai at Nakhas market. The secret tip is to visit at night and you’ll enjoy the market view along with your chai!

nimish (2).jpg

Nimish – Also called Makhan malai, it is a rich creamy dessert which is a part of the Awadhi cuisine in Lucknow. This is the cuisine of Nawabs which makes it rich in the variety and taste. The foggy winter mornings are the times to delish this dessert. The special thing about nimish is that it’s available in the Lucknow local Chowk area. It light and creamy texture just dissolves in your mouth.

shahi tukda (2).jpg

Shahi tukda – Lakhnavi Shahi Tukda is a delight to have for dessert lovers. This mouth watering sweet dish is a bread pudding dessert of fried bread slices soaked in hot milk with saffron and cardamom. For the most authentic taste of this royal dish, one must try it at Dastarkhwan, Tunday Kebabi and Zaika. It is served with chilled saffron flavored thickened milk, topped with toasted nuts and you are ready to eat!

Phirni.jpg

Phirni – Though you might have heard its name quite a few times but the sweet dish is nothing you can already imagine unless you actually taste it. The royal dessert is served at the famous restaurant Crazy Balls in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. Phirni is made with special lakhnavi refinements like using aged rice called ‘Rangooni’. The restaurant Crazy Balls serves not just phirni but another exotic sweet dish, rabri bharwa gulab jamun which is again an integral part of the royal Awadhi cuisine.

sheermal (2).jpg

Sheermals – Also called shirmal, this is traditional flat bread made in Bangladesh, Iran, Awadh, Lucknow and Hyderabad. It is not exactly a dessert but this sweet naan delicacy is baked in tandoor and looks like Danish bread once made. It is enjoyed in Lucknow with spicy curries like Lucknow kebab or nihari.

ladoo (2).jpg

Khoya Ladoo – You must be wondering what a common ladoo is doing in this list of specials. The reason is purely patriotic! This khoya ladoo is available at Haji sweet shop in Lucknow, started almost fifty years back and it is still the same! It is like the Chandni Chowk of Delhi. They sell the ladoos at a surprising price of 1 rupee! The shop is full with queues and provides other traditional sweets as well.
